Happy Birthday, Mama
So for Mama's 40th birthday, she didn't want anything big. We decided to do just a little family thing that night. We went out to Baytowne and walked around, then went to dinner at Cheeseburger in Paradise. Little did she know, me and Daddy had planned a surprise party for her at The Olive Garden the next day. She literally had no idea. I honestly don't think I've ever seen her as shocked as she was.
It was so great.
There was such a huge turnout.
I think she had an amazing time.

Wedding weekend!
Kirby and I drove to Arkansas Wednesday to prepare for my cousin, Amber's wedding. Chris and Amber have been together forever it seems. Since 2004, I believe. They are great together and I had a blast sharing in their special day. The ceremony and reception were held in Roland, Arkansas at An Enchanted Evening, near Pinnacle Mountain. The ceremony was beautiful, as was the reception.
Erica and I were bridesmaids.
Amber looked gorgeous,as always.
And Chris looked handsome too.
They were both glowing with happiness.
Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. Scarborough!

Family dinner
The Friday night before my cousin, Amber's wedding, we had a little family get together at Larry's Pizza in Cabot. I have never heard of it before. As soon as we got there we saw that it was a full house! The food was tasty so it was worth the wait. Plus it was great to sit around with everyone and be goofy.

Crazy cousins
We went to Arkansas over for a few days last week for my cousin, Amber's wedding. (More on that in another post.) Here are few pics of Kirb, me, and my other cousins entertaining ourselves. I let one take a picture, about twenty minutes later we had a lot of crazy pictures. I love my family so much, and spending what little time I get to with them makes me miss them even more than ever.

Light at the end of the tunnel!
The spring semester finally came to an end last week. The results: (drumroll)...

yay!
I had a week for summer classes. Today I started my summer semester. I am signed up for
*Measurement, Evaluation and Assessment in Education
*Human Development and Learning
*Methods of Inclusion and Collaboration
*Integration of Assessment into Classroom Reading
Summer semester is only 12 weeks so it will probably fly by. After that I have one more semester of classes, then my student teaching. woop woop! Ready or not, here it comes!
