A few years ago my uncle, now 35, was diagnosed with ALS, more commonly known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. This horrible disease has begun to attack his lungs and is affecting his breathing. His doctors told him he should consider having a ventilator put in. Once this is put in, it's in for good.

The reason I am writing this is because we need all the prayers we can get. This is such a tough time for my family and a lot of decisions are being made that no one is quite ready to make. Please keep my uncle and our family in your prayers. I don't really know what to pray for, but I have faith that God will take care of us.

My birthday present to me

I am so, so, so, so excited. I just purchased tickets to go see my ultimate favorite singer, Joshua Radin. He is playing with The Watson Twins at Workplay in Birmingham, AL. November 8th at 8pm.
