Christmas time is here!
I love decorating for Christmas. Actually, a lot of my decorations are "winter" decorations so that I can leave them up until February. Here are a few of our decorations this year.

6 Years Strong
Monday, October 25th, Kirby & I celebrated our 6 year "anniversary." I guess most people don't celebrate the day they began dating, but I think it's fun. Here we are a little bit after we began dating...2004. We were seniors in high school.
This is us in 2005 at our senior prom.
...and here we are at our wedding in 2008. <3

GO HOGS!
Today is the biggest game of the year for Arkansas. The Razorbacks will take on the #1 Alabama. I SO wish I was there. The game is going to be so intense. They called for a Red Out from Arkansas fans. I'm wearing my red today. So in honor of my home state, let's call those Hogs!
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO PIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGG
SOOOOOOOIIIIIIIIEEEEE!

What's In My...DVR?
So, because I have nothing fun to blog about, I decided to blog on the series "what's in my...?" I think I watch way to much tv for my own good, so this should be a good one.
Monday
The Event (NBC)
*We haven't watched this yet, but I have heard really good things about it.
Tuesday
19 Kids and Counting (TLC)
*Don't judge me, I think they're a sweet family.
Teen Mom (Mtv)
*Yeah, yeah, yeah...
Running Wilde (Fox)
*Kirb is a big Will Arnett fan, so we gave this one a shot. I thought it was pretty funny.
Wednesday
America's Next Top Model (CW)
*I'm especially thankful for DVR because I fast forward through about 85% of this show .
Law & Order: SVU (NBC)
Modern Family (ABC)
Thursday
The Office (NBC)
*Fave. Since this is supposed to be Steve Carell's last season, I really hope it's a good one.
Community (NBC)
30 Rock (NBC)
Project Runway (Lifetime)
*Number 2 show I'm grateful to have DVR for. The judges are so unnecessarily brutal, I can't listen to it.
My Generation (ABC)
*Another new show we're trying out.
**Edit: This one isn't gonna make the cut...it was pretty lame**
Saturday
Saturday Night Live (NBC)
Everyday
Friday Night Lights (ABC Family)
*We just started watching this show, so we're catching up on ABC Family. It's a really good show.
Boy Meets World (ABC Family)
*That's right.

time for a home tour
Kelly at Kelly's Korner is hosting "Show us where you live" Friday and I decided to join the fun.
This week were doing living rooms. Here is our living room as you walk in the front door. Our dining room/kitchen is apart of this room. The papasan couch separates the two rooms. (I don't know why the lighting is so bad in some of these.)
This is the view standing next to the tv stand. Gotta love the Hogs throw in honor of football season.
This is standing near the dining room.Basically everything we have is from Target or Wal-Mart. The tv stand, floor rug, and wall sconce above the couch are from Target. The baker's rack is from Wal-Mart. Our papasan chairs are from Pier 1.
This is the view from the couch. The picture above the tv is one of our engagement photos with signitures from our wedding.
Thats all I've got. :o) Next week is the master bedroom.

Always, Sometimes, Never
I always...
...wear my seatbelt.
...daydream about the future.
...dip my fries in honey mustard.
...clean the house before going on a trip.
...sing really loud when I'm alone in the car.
...have my toenails painted.
...have wanted to be a mommy.
I sometimes...
...read until my eyes burn.
...want to move back to Arkansas.
...get nervous around crowds.
...wake up in the middle of the night to get a glass of chocolate milk.
...like to go shopping alone.
...opt for a king size Reese's because it's a better deal.
...try a new recipe that flops.
I never...
...turn down a chocolate chip cookie.
...feel like I've studied my Bible enough.
...eat mushrooms or olives. (blech!)
...watch scary movies.
...get tired of The Office.
...wear shoes in the house.
...go a whole day without Kirby cracking me up at least once.

Fashion show, fashion show, fashion show at lunch!
While the family was over, the girls somehow managed to get into my mom's shoes. This led to lipstick, which led to purses, which led to the girls becoming "movie stars."
I think Emily has the look perfected.

Here's Haley looking fab.

Lindsay and Lauryn got into the action as well.

And of course, here are the boys while all of this is going on.

Happy Birthday, Erica
Erica turned 21 (yikes!). My mom, cousin, and I went to meet her for dinner in Pensacola.
We tried to get a picture of all of the granddaughters, but Lauryn wasn't having it.
Here's Erica with all of the boys.
I wonder what she wished for.

The next day, Erica came to town and we had a little party for her.

Happy Birthday, Mama
So for Mama's 40th birthday, she didn't want anything big. We decided to do just a little family thing that night. We went out to Baytowne and walked around, then went to dinner at Cheeseburger in Paradise. Little did she know, me and Daddy had planned a surprise party for her at The Olive Garden the next day. She literally had no idea. I honestly don't think I've ever seen her as shocked as she was.
It was so great.
There was such a huge turnout.
I think she had an amazing time.
